Those of you into Network Marketing for some time will know that it’s sometimes difficult to get the help that you need to build your business. Some of you maybe one of those unlucky guys that once signed up your upline is not interested in helping you.

It really gets my back up when people tell me they joined an mlm program and their upline then abandons them offering them no help, it leaves a scar on the mlm business this can end up with a new distributor not knowing what to do and therefore cannot get things off the ground so they end up quitting.

I wanted to write today about mlm help, as I believe that in traditional mlm it’s quite severely lacking, often the traditional training and help offered by uplines is pretty standard, such as drawing up a list of prospects, talking to friends and family, strangers, cold calling etc… I’m sure you know what I’m talking about! Your success using these traditional methods is likely to be limited as you will quickly run out of leads.

Many times I am questioned, should you build your mlm business online , I will always answer with a definite yes. But remember that MLM is a people’s business. Often I hear of many people who are of the opinion that it is enough to just put up a website and can then sit back whilst the money comes in without ever having to speak to a soul, the truth is that is not going to happen, ever! Someone that does not enjoy interacting with other folks and building relationships is not suitable for mlm. Period. Everyone that you sponsor and you, need to be happy to develop business and personal relationships with other people and provide help and support. How can we achieve this on the internet?

The best mlm help I like to offer people is to consider the internet as a tool for reaching people from all over the world. You are using the internet to reach more people than you ever could offline. This can be effectively done using blogging, articles, emails and videos, these are great ways to build relationships and trust with people on your list. This may or may not be news to you but people will join your mlm because of YOU, yes that is right, people will partner with you because they like and trust you and feel comfortable that you can mentor them to success. Many folks are sceptical when you mention ‘internet business’ most likely due to all the scams around. It’s up to you to bring down your prospects defence by being honest and transparent

It’s amazing how many individuals are out there who conclude that by marketing their business on the internet prosperity is a certainty and that it’s just simply a case of spamming the social networks and search engines with a load of promotion hype or company replicated website. Well more fool them! Let them be, there is a lot of marketing babble around, it is easy for us to be different by building relationships based on trust and giving value

So when offering people mlm help I always tell them to make sure that the marketing follow up strategies they use are effective. It important to have as much human contact in your marketing as possible, use videos often and audios or powerpoint presentations so that folks get to know you.
